Sound Quality

The player has a couple of options to improve sound quality.

Drivers

MusiCHI support ASIO and WASAPI.

Use these drivers for bit perfect playback and automatic sample rate switching

Memory playback

The file is loaded entirely in memory first and then is played from RAM.
Possible contamination by electric noise during playback due to reading the track from disk or by the processor decoding the audio is completely eliminated.
Likewise mechanical noise of the HD.

A system high on latency might profit as buffering the audio this way might eliminate dropouts.

Memory playback is often advised if one hears differences between FLAC and WAV.
These differences are attributed to different processing patterns.
If the processing is done before playback starts, these differences are eliminated.
